NSW EDUCATION STANDARDS AUTHORITY (NESA)
Allens Training Pty Ltd are successfully registered with NESA Registered Professional Development for teachers accredited at Proficient Teacher.
We have been approved for the below courses for 2017-2022:
HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation - 3 hours addressing standard 4.4.2
HLTAID003 Provide first aid - 8 hours addressing standard 4.4.2
HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting - 10 hours addressing standard 4.4.2
22282VIC Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace - 4 hours addressing standard 4.4.2
22300VIC Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis - 4 hours addressing standard 4.4.2
The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) is an independent statutory authority with responsibility for oversight of accreditation and recognition of teacher's professional capacity against professional teaching standards. NESA oversees the system of accreditation and recognition of teacher's capacity against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. This system includes professional development provider endorsement, course and program registration and evaluation. Teachers need to participate in 100 hours of professional development over five years if a full-time teacher or seven years if a part-time, casual or temporary. Proficient Teacher are required to gain:
A minimum of 50 hours of NESA registered professional development for accredited courses, which is what our courses fall under.
This means that any of the above training courses we provide to employees who fall under NESA is recognised as Professional Development and they can use this training to contribute towards their hours they are required to obtain throughout their five year period to meet formal requirements.
If you are registered under NESA, it is important that you make this information known to the company and/or trainer upon enrolment.

REFUND POLICY
When an person enrols in a course offered by Hills First Aid Training and pays the course fees a binding contract is created between the person and Hills First Aid Training.
Withdrawal or deferral from a course of study must be made in writing to Hills First Aid Training.
In the case of cancellation/withdrawal, the following cancellation fees will apply:
Students who give notice to cancel their enrolment more than 7 days prior to the commencement of a course will be entitled to a full refund of fees paid.
Students who give notice to cancel their enrolment less than 7 days prior to the commencement of the program may not be entitled to a full refund.
Students who cancel their enrolment after they have commenced will not be entitled to a refund of fees.
If there is a legitimate reason for the withdrawal there will be no charge for a student to transfer to another course with Hills First Aid Training.
If Hills First Aid Training cancels a course, then a full refund will be made available to the payee of the course fee.
Please note that administration fees may still apply for the processing of refunds.
The student needs to demonstrate that extenuating or significant personal circumstances led to their withdrawal from the course. In these cases, the student maybe offered a full credit towards another scheduled program in-lieu of a refund.
Where refunds are approved, the refund payment must be paid to the student within 14 days from the time the student gave written notice to cancel their enrolment. Course refunds are to be paid via electronic funds transfer using the authorised bank account nominated by the student.
Note. If Hills First Aid Training is unable to fulfil its course agreement with a student a refund of the student’s fee or alternative arrangements will be negotiated.
